2025 Rock Paper Scissors Regatta

We are proud to host the annual Rock Paper Scissors Regatta and Tournament! Join us for family fun, food, and racing. This is a great regatta for new racers and experienced racers. Activities include the 100 ft slip and slide of doom with a redneck swimming pool, the epic Rock Paper Scissors Tournament, and great sailing on Saturday and Sunday.

Applicants for all classes must be rising high school seniors or younger at the start of the regatta.

Classes will include:

• International Optimist Dinghy: Red, Blue, White, and Green
  (Coaching will be provided for the Green Fleet)
• Laser/ILCA: Full, Radial, 4.7
• Collegiate 420: spin and no spin- to be scored separately
• Open Skiff
• Sunfish

Entry fees for each class: 

$65.00 single-handed fleets; includes racing fee and meals for skipper.

$90.00 double-handed; includes racing fee and meals for skipper and crew.

Late fee of $20.00 is applied after August 11, 2025

Additional meals: $42.00 for extra meal package (includes Saturday lunch & dinner, Sunday lunch). Or purchase additional meals individually: $18.00 for extra dinner, $12.00 each for extra lunches. Please pre-order additional meals with your online registration. If you need to add extra meals after you have already registered for the regatta, you may find the place to order them by scrolling down on this page... under the heading "shop" click on the word "merchandise". Deadline for ordering additional meals is August 20th. 

SHIRTS: Official regatta shirts are available for purchase separately here: https://stores.crsapparel.com/2025_RPSBSC/shop/home. Order shirts by August 11th for pickup at the registration table. After August 11th, any shirts ordered will be shipped directly to you after the event.

Saturday, August 23rd

9:00am-10:30am Check-in

11:00am Skipper’s Meeting and lunch on shore

12:00pm First Warning

4:00-5:30pm Snacks, Drinks, and Sliding Fun

6:00pm Dinner

7:00pm Rock, Paper, Scissors Tournament

Sunday, August 24th

9:30am First warning, racing continues. No races will be started after 1:00pm

1:00pm or after conclusion of last race: Lunch and awards

The Green Fleet schedule will be the same through lunch. A separate Skipper’s Meeting for Green Fleet sailors will be conducted, and the remainder of the schedule for that fleet will be announced.

PETS
Pets are not allowed in the immediate vicinity of the Clubhouse or patios. Otherwise, pets brought to the Club must be leashed or kenneled and observed by the owner as not to be a nuisance to other members or guests. Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.

ACCOMODATIONS
Camping is encouraged at the club. Hot showers are available. The club grounds, clubhouse, showers and facilities will be open on Friday night for regatta participants planning to camp.
